Presently technological advancement has made our life easier to some extent. Today, with the help of a mobile phone, we can easily talk or video chat with anyone across the world. In this way, in today’s time mobile has become an important part of people’s life. Even, there are some works which cannot be done without mobile. If we talk about mobile usage, then India is at number three in the world. People of India use mobile for more than 4 hours on an average daily basis.

According to a survey, the number of people spending time on mobiles has increased significantly amid the Corona epidemic. India ranks third in phone usage, while Brazilians use the most mobiles. This claim is from the ZDNet news website. According to his report, Brazilian people use the most mobiles in the world.

Brazilian people run mobile for 5 hours 4 minutes on an average daily basis. While the name of Indonesia comes at number two. This country spends 5 hours 3 minutes on mobile every day. At the same time, India has been ranked third in the report. The report claims that India has been placed at number three with mobile usage of 4 hours 9 minutes.

10 countries have been included in this report. According to the ZDNet news website report, South Korea has got the fourth number in the rank of 7 other countries. South Koreans use mobiles every day for 4 hours 8 minutes. So while Mexico is at number 5 with 4 hours 7 minutes mobile usage. Turkey is ranked 6th with 4 hours 5 minutes, Japan 7th with 4 hours 4 minutes, Canada 8th with 4 hours 1 minute, US 3 hours 9 minutes, and UK 3 hours 8 minutes at 9th and 10th position.

At the same time, a survey conducted in India has revealed that 59.2% of children in the country use smartphones for messaging apps. The National Commission for Protection of Child Rights (NCPCR) has conducted a study on the mobile use of children. This revealed that only 10.1% of children are using smartphones for online learning or education. According to the study, 30.2% of children have their own smartphones. 37.8% of 10-year-olds have a Facebook account. 24.3% of children of the same age have an Instagram account.

The study said that after the age of 13, the trend of children using their own smartphone is increasing. However, the number of children using laptops/tablets for Internet access remains constant across ages. This suggests that parents prefer to give smartphones to their children after 12-13 years of age than laptops or tablets.

Apart from bread, cloth, and house, mobile phone is also a basic requirement for communication. But it is believed that excessive use of anything is harmful to our health, the phone is also one of them. People use mobiles to listen to songs, send messages and run the Internet, but according to a survey, the number of people who talk on the phone for a long time is very high, due to which our health is being negatively affected. In such a situation, we should use anything according to the need, because too much is harmful to anyone.
